5th Street Upgrade

With a strong potential of a second round of federal stimulus money being available, the City is quickly moving forward with an application for the stimulus funds to simply repave 5th Street.  The repaving would be done such that if future improvements were decided on by the community and the Council that the new pavement would not have to be disturbed. Staff has been talking with some residents about concerns and any improvements that might be of interest to residents.  Sometime this spring staff will send out a letter explaining in more detail what the City is doing to fix the pavement and detail the different issues facing the City relative to potential improvements to the street.
